I feel like a terrible fan for saying this, and maybe it was because I wasn’t looking for it, nor did I know even what to look for, but I had no idea that Hermione and Ron had a thing for each other until, like the end of the 6th book or even in the 7th.  That is my Harry Potter disappointing fan confession.
