I can’t think of any one reason why I wanna be a surgeon director, but I can think of a thousand reasons why I should quit. They make it hard on purpose. There are lives in our hands. I could quit but here’s the thing, I love the playing field.

I am just on cloud 9.
I have this fun little show I am directing called Blind Date by Horton Foote. And I liked the play to begin with, but the people I am working with are just so excellent. They came to the first rehearsal with ideas and from the very beginning have made bold choices that have really given a sense of ownership to their characters. I am so proud to go into rehearsal every day and I look forward to it....

Top 10 Reasons that I can justify having an iPad.
They are fun as hell.
There are so many good apps that would help me with my life.
I wouldn’t have to lug my laptop across country for any internships I might get this summer.
Because I already have a phone, I don’t need an iPhone.
I could take my directing notes on my iPad.
It would be like having a personal assistant accept you don’t have to pay it weekly.
